The Father

The Father

Our Father who is in Heaven – He is the everlasting Yahweh, the Adonai Almighty. From Him all things proceed. He is the “God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 1:3) and from Him the Holy Spirit proceeds (John 15:26). God the Father is the originator of all things, the endless fountain of life.
The Father – This is the name that Jesus Christ gives to the first person of Trinity (Matthew 6:9). It speaks of His nature, that is, the One who begets things, who brings something into existence. Everything starts from the Father. The whole will and plan of God is actually the plan of the Father. The creation of the universe, the creation of the Earth, the creation of you and me – it is all the Father’s idea.
Now, the very core of who the Father is, is love. Everything He plans and begets is motivated by love (Jeremiah 31:3).
The way we relate to the Father is mainly prayer. He is the chief focus of our prayer. He is also an object of our worship.

Vision

To be the answer to the Lord’s Prayer and bring heaven on earth (Matthew 6:10). Jesus revealed that heaven is all about knowing the Father and Himself (John 17:3) and that through the Holy Spirit (John 16:15). I want to help and encourage people to know and pursue the knowledge of the LORD.
